Synthesis Workshop Series: Perceptual Models of Dominant Hydrologic Processes Across North America
  • Join us as we work towards defining perceptual models of hydrologic behaviors across large geographical domains!

Each instance of this unique webinar series will feature a 3 hour webinar at the start of the day with 3 - 4 invited speakers who will present keynotes on perceptual models of hydrologic processes in their region of expertise, followed by a Q&A.

Following a 1 hour break, we invite interested attendees to bring their expertise and participate in join a longer synthesis discussion in the second portion of the day to delineate representative perceptual models of hydrologic behavior for the various parts of each larger region.

By completing this form, you are registering for the Morning Keynote Webinars, and noting if you have interest in attending the afternoon synthesis meetings.

Visit the CUAHSI website here for more information on this project.

    Keynote Talks (Morning Webinar Series)

After registering for the morning keynotes via this form, you will receive connection information via email for all webinars in this series.

Each webinar will cover a specific region in North America: Cold Region, Western Coastal Region, Interior Agricultural Region, Eastern Coastal Region, and Islands. A map that more clearly categorizes these regions is below.

September 3: Eastern Coastal Region 10:00 - 1:00 pm ET
September 24: Western Mountain and Coastal Region 10:00 - 1:00 pm ET
    October 1: Cold Regions 10:00 - 1:00 pm ET
November 5: Interior Agricultural Region 10:00 - 1:00 pm ET
    November 12: Island Region 10:00 - 1:00 pm ET

  • Synthesis Meetings (Afternoon Meeting)

We are also inviting scientists and researchers with region-specific knowledge to attend a 3 hour synthesis meeting in the afternoon following the keynotes. We would expect that each person only attends synthesis meetings they want to actively participate in, focusing on regions where they have specific expertise.

    • September 3: Eastern Coastal Region 2:00 - 5:00 pm ET
    • September 24: Western Mountain and Coastal Region 2:00 - 5:00 pm ET
    • October 1: Cold Regions 2:00 - 5:00 pm ET
    • November 5: Interior Agricultural Region 2:00 - 5:00 pm ET
    • November 12: Island Region 2:00 - 5:00 pm ET

If you are interested in attending any of these synthesis meetings, please note this below, and you will be contacted separately with more information.
We thank you in advance for helping us advance knowledge in this area through collaboration and synthesis!
